Don't let Mice frighten you off a decent Printed Mouse Mat

Have you ever found it impossible to move your mouse and you are constantly clicking to make it work? Well, a handy Printed Mouse Mat will ease that mouse and have you sliding and clicking smoothly as ever. Don't panic over mice! The purpose of a mouse mat is to ease the ability to move the mouse on the mat.

Douglas Engelbart is a American inventor, he focussed on human development and this led to the invention of the mouse. The mouse was designed to function with the use of a two dimensional motion. The mouse gets its demands by holding under the hand and having two main buttons, one for the left first finger and the middle finger for the right button. This enables us to move the mouse with our hands and control the mouse quickly and efficiently.

However the first ever mouse like invention was called the 'Trackball' invented by Tom Cranson in 1952 this device features on all mouses today enabling them to move under our hands. The trackball consists of a ball held by a socket which has sensors and when rolling the mouse with the palm of hand this points the sensors in a certain direction. Unlike new technology today the trackball can move continuously with no limits, however the mouse can only reach the edge of its working area.

Tom Crason in fact actually came up with the name of the 'Mouse' as when the early models were made most devices had a cord, even though nowadays we have more free lance mice as some do not have a cord attached. But this cord resembled the tail of a mouse as it was at the rear of the model, getting its name the 'Mouse'. Although there are many benefits of the mouse mat first there was higher speed in which we could work with computers. Easier use and comfortable for your hand to use.

Another use was to protect the surface in which the mouse is placed on from any marks from the rubbing motion the mat is used by. All mouse mats have different materials that can be used to fit various mouse technologies. Vinyl board cover, because of its natural texture was most popular in 1980, as it was an easy substance to get hold of. After the steel mouse with a rubber outer layer was invented they had to use a different mat which would work best with the rubber and came up with a fabric mouse mat and they worked nicely together.

Nowadays we can use many other materials such as plastics, leather, glass, cork, wood and many more. The most commonly used is the fabric component's to interact with the mouse in the best way. So how useful are these simple mouse mats? They are not as simple as they look, with many scientific uses that can enable us to slide our mouses from a to be in the easiest ways possible.
