Face coverings are now a compulsory requirement in a wide range of indoor settings, including on public transport, in retail environments and in entertainment venues.

Inside indoor shopping centres
At premises providing veterinary services
Visitor attractions and entertainment venues, such as museums, galleries and cinemas
In places of worship
In community centres and social clubs
In exhibition halls and conference centres

Please note that the guidelines are constantly changing; see the government's latest guidance on the wearing of face coverings.

Of course, not everyone is able to wear a face covering. Children under the age of 11 years are excluded from the above, whilst adults with conditions that mean they are unable to wear masks are also exempt.
