Branded merchandise has been used in promotional campaigns, by companies all over the world to try and increase their brand awareness. Promotional campaigns have been going on for many years, and over and over again we see companies using the same branded merchandise, with just a different logo on. This can become very boring for the consumer, as once they have one promotional pen they seem to have them all.
To try and get the excitement back into branded merchandise, companies have come up with all sorts of ideas. One of which is to invest in branded merchandise that is a bit different, as this can create an exciting vibe around the new giveaway, whilst also grabbing more attention from passersby.
For example, Christmas baubles printed with a company logo on are different, and in keeping with the seasonal demands. They could also be something your competitor may have not thought about branding. Different, and inspiring branded merchandise will kick start your advertising campaign off in the right direction and get your branding noticed above the rest.
With Christmas just around the corner, we wanted to find out a bit more about the Christmas tradition. For example, why we decorate our Christmas trees, and why we use Christmas trees in the first place. There are many theories as to why we use Christmas trees, and where the idea first came from. One of which is that Christmas trees have been a strong growing tradition since the 15th century.
The first documented uses of Christmas trees were in Estonia. A tree was put up for their holidays, and the last night of the celebrations leading up to the holidays, the tree was taken to the Town Hall Square, where members of a brotherhood danced around it. Legend has it that Martin Luther began the tradition of decorating the trees to celebrate Christmas.
Now-a-days, baubles are one of the most popular decorations. However in the early days baubles hadn’t been invented yet, so apples, white candy canes, and pastries in the shape of stars, hearts and flowers were used to decorate the trees instead. The only problem with using food to decorate the tree is that it can’t be used for the entire holiday, as the food would mould and start to produce an unwelcoming odour.
At least with Inflatable Christmas Baubles they can stay on the tree as long as you want, showing off your brand the entire holiday season.
