From interactive videos to vegan pop-up shops, there is a bit of inspiration for every business! Therefore, if you’re planning a marketing campaign for your business, take a little inspiration from some of our favourites!
Ted Baker’s Mission Impeccable
Luxury clothing brand Ted Baker created a three-minute short film for people to view online to promote the new Autumn/Winter range. We know that people love to engage with videos, but Ted Baker took it one step further and made it so that every item of clothing in the video was shoppable at just a click! It was in a James Bond style, featuring the spy ‘T.E.D’ deploying fashionably dressed agents to prevent a worldwide disaster. The film generated 6.27 million views on YouTube, which led to great traction and sales, according to Ted Baker’s global brand director, Craig Smith.
L’Oreal’s Beauty Squad
Nowadays, influencers are extremely successful in marketing brands’ products and services because they truly appeal to the younger generation. Beauty brand L’Oreal caught sight of this and announced 5 British beauty bloggers to create content for them on an ongoing basis. In this way, they are able to “craft a different type of relationship” when it comes to working with influencers. They are now able to work long-term with the bloggers to engage a wider audience in a very authentic way!
Pret A Manger’s Little Veggie Shop
Pret A Manger did something that a lot of brands should be doing but don’t: truly listen to their customers. The food chain did an online poll asking the public whether or not they would back vegan stores; following the results, Pret created a Little Veggie Pop-Up concept in central London. Pret’s global marketing director at the time, Mark Palmer, believed that sales were to drop by 30% due to becoming vegan, but they actually grew! Therefore, this Summer pop up shop turned into a permanent site!
From this, you can see how incredible technology is in marketing products digitally and creatively. Coming up later this week we have a few more of our favourite marketing campaigns to inspire you for the Summer ahead!
