The big difference between Winter and Summer Promotional Merchandise

You may have noticed that many companies had out different promotional merchandise each season. It makes sense really, as if you think about it who wants to receive promotional sunglasses in Winter, and a promotional jumper in the summer! Promotional merchandise, as you'll probably know already is used to create more brand awareness in a promotional campaign.

Each promotional campaign is different, depending on the company. Some companies may opt to hiring out an exhibition trailer to show off their new products or services and some just hire a promotional team to give away their promotional merchandise at special events.

No matter what the company, be it a company that sells sandwiches to a company that sells gym equipment, you're more often than not see them giving away promotional merchandise. This is where the seasons come into play again, as depending on which season it is (Summer, Winter etc) will determine the type of promotional items the company invest in, for example:

Winter promotional merchandise includes;

- Promotional Jumpers

- Promotional Ear Muffs

- Promotional Ice Scrapers

- Promotional Winter Driving Survival Kit

Where as Summer promotional merchandise includes:

- Promotional Sun Glasses

- Promotional Sun Block

- Promotional Cool Bags

- Promotional Inflatables

- Promotional Beach Mat

- Promotional Bucket and Spade

- Promotional Ice Packs

You get the idea... When it comes to Spring and Autumn, the company really just has to judge the weather accordingly. If it's still warm or is getting warmer opt in for promotional merchandise that is related to summer, then the opposite if it's getting colder.

The more you relate your promotional merchandise to the current season the more interest you should get from your target audience... and we don't need to explain the benefits more interest will give the company.

To get ahead of your competitors in 2012, have a look at the range of promotional merchandise available on our website... you can then judge for yourself what time of year you hand them out.
