Bags and backpacks like many things have a bit of history behind them. A form of backpack was used in ancient times. Hunters used bags carried on their backs to carry larger game and other types of prey as an easier way of transporting. The word used before backpack was rucksack, which was used mainly in the British and American Army. Rucksack derived its name from German words ‘de Rucken’ which means ‘the back’ and 'sack' for' bag'.
The main point to any bag throughout history, whether it’s small or large is to make carrying belongings easier for the carrier. A printed bag has an extra use, it can be used as an advertising platform. So it can carry belongings and a logo, taking the weight off your mind.
