The team at Total Merchandise was delighted to support Norwood at the annual Maccabi GB Fun Run event over the weekend (23 June 2019).
Norwood supports vulnerable children and their families, as well as young people with special educational needs. The charity also offers support to those with learning disabilities and autism, with the organisation helping upwards of 4,000 people every single year.
To mark the end of Learning Disability Week (17-23 June 2019), Norwood took part in the Maccabi GB Fun Run in Allianz Park, where around 50 people from across the charity's various services took part in a variety of runs. It costs £34m a year to enable the charity to deliver its services, with almost a third of that figure needing to be raised via voluntary donations. All funds raised from the event will help the charity continue their excellent work. In total, the event saw a record-breaking 7,500+ runners participate, with money raised for 85 different charities.
Total Merchandise was delighted to provide Norwood with a range of printed caps for the occasion - and in the blazing June heat, a little sun protection was of the utmost importance for the participants.
